Japanese maid cafes. (shudder) That’s creepy. If you’re going to go oogle at women, the women should at least resemble sexually mature adult women. This is so creepy, the women look like something between pre-teen and teenage girls but never adult women. At the least, if I go to a stripclub where a whore grinds her sweating crotch on me or gyrates her pussy in front of my face, that’s a true adult context and the woman is a woman and I as a man don’t feel creeped out or guilty.
Note: when Buzzfeed asks which maid is most popular, the other maid agrees it’s Ayame, the one you see in the thumbnail. Hmm, does it have something to do with her looking the most sexually mature, like an adult female?

Very amusing. It’s like a list a more mature teenage girl would make. That’s the point, of course, because the list is by Karley “Slutever” Sciortino for a Petra “Hairy Bush” Collins’ book about teenage girls.
The art direction deserves an award unto itself. It’s really kitsch.

Beautiful.

The interracial love is the “happening” thing on AMC right now. Check out Rick and Michonne of “Walking Dead”. The two most bad-ass characters from the start of the series and only now have they fucked. They’re so alike.

So to summarize why pickup artists do what they do (male or female), it’s because they’re delusional.
So like an FBI profiler might tell a psychotic tormentor, “Stop running, if you want to ultimately get caught.”
In layman terms, that hard-to-get shit has a timer, and eventually it just comes off as sad.

Hayley Quinn participates in TED Talks cult. Kinda depressing.
Feb 21, 2016 4:57AM
Tsk, tsk, Hayley Quinn. Mission control, we have contact. So painful to watch. She’s all superficial and shit with her “old friend” JT Tran, until he wraps his arm around her, and she cringes. But I thought you two were old friends. So that’s how I know they haven’t been intimate with each other. And also that her facade may not be what it seems. As the “interview” progresses, she continues to lean away from JT. Shit’s built-in. This video actually does make JT look like a good guy. It’s not like what he’s saying isn’t the truth or basic common sense. But the reality is, these white women crave the attention and validation and JT is just another factor in this age-old high-school forever industry. Stay keen, kids.

That’s how it’s done, girl! All it takes is a little courage. Note, this black girl asks EVERY ethnic male, and even the black men are all awkward and shit, it seems like they’ve never been hit on by a girl before. So this video dispels not only the black-men-as-hyper-sexual-potent-gods-in-Murica, but also shows that if you’re a black girl in America (or anywhere for that matter), the only thing stopping you from getting a little some-something is yourself. Go get ‘em, girl.

Interesting. Can Nigerians marry a white man? I think they already know the reasons why and why not.
But this does lead me to contemplate Hollywood shamelessly making a “Pretty Woman” sequel that stars a sexy black Nigerian female and an older wealthy white man. You know you want to, Hollywood.
Feb 16, 2016 5:50AM
Wow, I’m surprised by the answers, it’s heartbreaking. But it is relative after all. Most these Nigerian women would rather, I paraphrase, “suffer but live comfortably”. No one would say that if they didn’t already live in very bad conditions.

Dulce Sloan knocks it out the park. She’s no Wanda Sykes, but it’s still very unique humor. When she got to the part about gay men grabbing her breasts all the time and that if they do it, they better have sex with her, that’s when I knew it’s going to be funny.

All you young people who want to get into the YouTube business, here’s your chance: The Fung Bros. are hiring!
However, they did leave out some stuff, so let me supplement this opportunity with some needed advice.
1. Make sure you have some money saved up. Odds are, you don’t live in New York, so they’ll make you relocate. You’ll need a sufficient amount of money to live off of if they don’t compensate you with a stipend or wage.
2. Make sure you understand the basics of your legal rights for the content you will be producing for them. Odds are, The Fung Bros. will end up getting all copyright to the content you produce, whether you’re a cameraman, graphic designer, extra in a skit, etc. So ask about your rights, what your compensation is, etc. Don’t work for free. DON’T SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU CLEARLY UNDERSTAND IT.
3. Make sure you have a place to live. You better have some friends or family that will let you crash at their place. If not, New York has very expensive cost of living, so that’s why rule #1 is important. You need to have that rent money or somekind of funds to live off of.
4. Ask a lot of questions. It doesn’t make you look stupid. You don’t want to be left out in the snow, homeless and starving. This is a horror story you always hear about on the news. Understand that this is never a guaranteed rise to fame and fortune. Have a plan. Get a round-trip air ticket instead of one-way. Make sure your family knows where you are. Be smart.
Other than that, hopefully The Fung Bros. are reputable enough that they can hook you up. But be smart about it. And good luck!

Is Chelsea Handler going to become the new Joan Rivers? Maybe. She’s been doing a lot of these nude selfies and stuff lately, still looking AMAZING at her age. Seems like she’s trying to make up for lost time, trying to have a career she should have had when she was younger. But maybe that’s what makes her cooler than other comedians. Also, she banged 50 Cent.

There are male models out there too. Here’s a good series featuring the realities of being a male model. It’s not like the Zoolander movies.
Oct 4, 2012 3:24PM
I have to agree with Star Jones on this one. Anderson Cooper isn’t as deserving of his own show as Ellen Degeneres (simply because she has that “it” quality). Who knew being “gay” could be such a gimmick to climb the media ladder? Next, we need to see a gay black rapper host a comedy show preaching Zionism. Anderson Cooper is just another entitled rich white man, but maybe he doesn’t see it that way.

See, ladies and germs, this is why I don’t watch any of the Twilight movies. Poster for Breaking Dawn (part 2) is trying too hard to be X-Men or something epic.
Sep 29, 2012 12:40AM
This will be one controversial post, but I’m going to spill the beans on how to spot a flakey model. “Flake” is a term coined by “the industry” to mean any model that doesn’t follow through with shoots. It can be for any number of reasons, ie, the model isn’t real, model is irresponsible, immature, etc.
How to spot a flake model (where the photographer can be the victim or damsel in distress)[[MORE]]
1. Make first contact, then engage and observe. This is important because you want to correspond and eventually work with a live person (isn’t that the goal?) Sometimes, any one model can actually be represented by a shady network of cohorts or scammers. This is why you need to use extra intuition to detect this. When you make first contact with a prospective model, and she isn’t agency-represented, it is logical that it would be direct contact and that she is the one corresponding.
Some indicators that she may not be who she claims to be is in the way she “talks”. For example, be most weary of younger models, those that are 18 or 19. This is a known technique in the adult industry where there is a constant mention of the model’s age. The model’s agent (or pimp) will mention this upfront. It’s kinda like if you’re an undercover cop, the first thing you say is that you’re not.
And if you’re aware of modern stereotypes, pay attention to how the correspondence goes. If this teenage model talks like an airhead, odds are she’s not a genuine model. If she doesn’t have the business etiquette or sense to have proper correspondence, then she’s definitely not professional. This is actually a good point, I’ll note later.
Pay attention to forum-speak and other venues where these people interact. You got a lot of fraudulent members in the community posing as multiple personalities, either out of immaturity or cunning scam. Once in a while, they will slip, and they will “talk” as themselves as their sock puppet model. Or they will use a similar catch phrase, or mention something familiar. There might be photographers posing as their models, or vice versa. There might be the “poppa bear” old man photographer that pimps out his little stable of daddy-issued teen-looking models. Be weary of the criminal boyfriend that will rob you. Be weary of the network of hardened feminist strippers. Not to sound paranoid, but just know that it exists and pay attention. The likelihood of trouble isn’t high if you do your due diligence.
Also, look for membership signup dates. Flaky models sign up very recently, then disappear into thin air. Sometimes it’s a bot, sometimes it’s a troll. You just have to keep it in the back of your mind.
2. References - You can either take every reference’s word about the model as fact, or at face value, or be more vigilant and assume that if this model’s circle of friends are grifters or confidence tricksters. References should not have any kind of bias. Logically, any of the model’s references that has worked with her more than once should be a little fishy. And there will always be hearsay. If you really need to survey the model’s references, make sure you’re asking a diverse selection and then make an educated evaluation.
3. Proper grammar and spelling. It’s just good business sense and practice. It’s just tied into practicality. If she can’t read, she can’t add, then she can’t take orders, what else might she have trouble with… drama? Granted, she doesn’t need to be an English scholar, but effort matters. Manners is also a plus.
4. Personal biases. Let’s be real. If a model is a racist and only wants to shoot with a certain ethnicity of photographers, and you’re not it, then she’s not going to favor your business. If she has any preconceptions of creepy old pervy rapist men taking away her innocence, then odds are, she won’t show up. This is some very matter of fact stuff.
5. Immaturity - If she thinks she’s a princess just because she’s been told that her whole life and then she realizes she actually has to work to get paid, then that disillusionment might have her vision of reality crumbling. It’s not enough to just be pretty, because to monetize it requires skill… and maturity.
6. Money - It could be #1 on the list, but sometimes you want to think that a model understands how the money flows back and forward, between model and photographer. If a model doesn’t get x-amount of money and that’s the sole purpose of her business interaction with you, then odds are, she won’t show up. She’ll drop her obligation with you (a planned shoot) for someone who offered her more. The sad truth is that most Internet models are in it just for the money. So keep that at the top of their priorities.
Those seem to be the standout ones I can think of in a glance. If all fails, use your best judgement. Like most animals, if you don’t want to engage anything you already perceived as a threat, you wouldn’t engage them anyway. So a model that doesn’t want to work with you anyway, but saw that you were offering money, will no-matter-what NEVER work with you. That’s just the way it is.
However, to end it on a positive note, thank goodness you didn’t get stabbed or robbed, or killed, and ended up on the evening news accused of being a rapist. That, and there are plenty of open-minded and willing models out there wanting to be your muse. You just have to find them. Or in a blue moon, they’ll find you.

I didn’t pay too much attention. First it was an article about Flava Flav mistaking Country Pop Princess Miley Cyrus for Gwen Stefani, then she’s making appearances on Two and a Half Men. Someone’s trying TOO hard. This usually means it’s the end of her career. Usually, a starlet will have staying power if she just sticks to one demographic. I have no idea who Miley Cyrus is trying to appeal to now. Did her “faithful” fans change their tastes or what? She’s going to try singing like Rihanna next?
It’s an interesting thing to observe… and to dissect. Maybe we will be seeing an Asian female popstar rise to fame, otherwise Miley wouldn’t be grasping at straws like this.

Let’s get real. This is quite possibly one of the UGLIEST Hollywood couples out there. And Arnold is bragging about get hisself a 20-year-old honey after his “split” with Maria. Get real. Arnold may have contributed to the definition of male machismo in the past 40+ years to all the beanpole losers, fatherless dopes, and latent homer-sexuals, but the man isn’t exactly a “beautiful” man. The best 20-something tang he’s getting is in the form of, wait for it…
Snooki will go down on ANYONE. Let’s get real. The thought of a former action hero, such as Arnold, in ANY sexual context NOW is pretty gross. And I rest my case by you just looking up what the mother of Arnold’s love child looks like. It’s the world we live in and it’s superficial, shallow, stupid, and most importantly pretentious. This German nigga got swag (that’s from Arnold’s Korean press agent).

On today’s recycled beauties:
After someone mentioned randomly how horrible the film “Ishtar” was, I had to look it up to see what the fuss was, then a beautiful face caught my eye.
Isabelle Adjani, one of the cast members of Ishtar.
Well, seems this “look” carried from the 1980s all the way through the 1990s with the likes of Sophie Marceau, Monica Belluci
All French. Just shows that beauty can be recycled.

actually light skin is something koreans are positive about. they prefer light skin to tanned skin, and actually hyuna got a lot of hate during Bubble Pop where she wore fake tan. and circle lenses are very popular in korea too, have you not heard of ulzzangs? big eyes, milky skin and long hair is korea's ideal type of beauty.

Halle Berry as a “white woman”. This is bad. Very bad. Where’s Shawn and Marlon Wayans for sideline commentary? I find it hard to believe the Wachowskis are using the “makeup” as an excuse to bring back blackface and yellowface. Granted, I hear that there are even some Asians playing whites, but the whites playing Asians is god awful caricatures. There’s no going around it. Asians with their “crooked, chinky eyes” still have a symmetry and aesthetic look. The white actors in yellow-face look like they’re melting or literally retarded. So, there it is. That’s how white people see Asians.

Okay, before I lose my train of thought for tonight, regarding Hyuna, the Korean pop star featured along Psy in YouTube sensation music video Gangnam Style. It’s just my personal opinion, but I do not find her very attractive simply due to all that work done to her face, especially her eyes. This is a common trend overseas where the Asian women are getting their eyes “widened” to appease American standards of beauty, aka “the white standard”. Her skin even looks like it was lightened. Looking now like an alien. Then you hear her “sing”. If you want to represent “Koreans”, why not look “Korean”. To me, that boggles my mind. I guess she’s Gungnam styo after all.

Ned Flanders has a sense of humor. Some women will think he looks like Marlon Brando or Hugh Jackman, some will think he looks like That Yellow Bastard from Sin City, but Uncle Terry thinks himself David by Micolangy. Thems the beans, ladies and gents, that’s how you gits teh wimmens. You have to put the time and effort into your body like Uncle Terry.

Anonymous asked: HAHAHA… so now you’re on a beach shooting a model with a NEX-7 in one hand while tweeting on your iPhone with the other hand!! That’s swag!! Do you actually look thru the viewfinder when you shoot? I always thought you’d be just using the LCD screen.
Kesler: haha, I rarely use the view finder, mostly the LCD.
Joke or not, the LCD of any DSLR is quite practical and exists for that sole purpose if it didn’t drain the battery so dang fast. And if you get a profession DSLR, you add on a gigando battery (let alone price!) just to power those unlimited shoots.

http://blog.angryasianman.com/2012/08/theyre-making-video-game-called-whore.html
Woooo. No.
Team Bondi, the video game developers behind hit PlayStation 3 “L.A. Noire” is working on a similar game taking place in 1930s Shanghai which is currently titled “Whore of the Orient”.
I know the Australians don’t have much opposition when it comes to race relations there, but in the modern world, a title like that can’t be very exotic anymore let alone politically correct. I’m sure, back in the glory days of silver cinema, that’s what got white men hooked on “Asian Dragon Lady”, but nowadays, hopefully, there has to be more to liking a woman than tokenizing her ethnicity.
But on the bright side, which is always the excuse, now they can cast all sorts of whorey Asian American Los Angelos talent to play whorey Asian prostitutes of yesteryear. Get to work, hos!
SMDH. No win situation.

Uh-oh, what say you?
So the context is that the Spanish magazine is saying The First Lady represents a long-time coming for black women and the Feminist movement. So… is this racist because blacks don’t want to acknowledge their own past (those who are indeed descended from black American slaves) or is it because it is inappropriate in some other way? Is this the only way they knew how of showing black women in a respectable light? Would this be of any concern outside of America?
National Geographic does something similar, but I’ll post something about that another time.
Aug 23, 2012 11:26PM
Let’s talk about casting. Even among the B-Movie giants, these elaborate “low-budget” straight-to-video films are still able to book almost well-known Playboy models or Playmates to play cameos or actual starring roles in their films. And once you see these models in a string of similar films, then you know these b-grade films must be funded by the same people representing the model herself.
If you keep up with Uncle Terry Richardson’s blog, you’ll start to realize that the people who hire him to take pictures of their people toss him the same people to photograph over and over and over. If you’re looking at this from a professional viewpoint, yes, this is job security. But if you’re talking about creativity, it’s really lacking. However, what I’m talking about is not how making money works. And these people make money because there is a formula. Which is why they make money, and I’m not.

Barbie vs. Lisa Simpson
You got two very popular fictional characters in main stream media and Pop Culture, Barbie and Lisa Simpson. It didn’t matter until The Simpsons television show actually made fun of the whole Barbie phenomenon in the episode where Lisa gets a doll made based on her. So these two stereotypes, for young women, stick out at the top of my head, at most up to the late 1990s and starting in the 1960s when Barbie became a household name.
If you update these stereotypes, Barbie would actually be Martha Stewart but with Diane Sawyer’s looks. Lisa Simpson would be Alison Brie from NBC’s TV show “Community” and she would be all up in anime fandom with pink hair and stuff, and she’d have a nerdy Asian boyfriend like YouTube’s Freddie Wong.
Alright. So now that the definitions are up-to-date. Let’s see if they stick.

Sarah Silverman is a hot Jew. There, I said it.

Amy Jo Johnson as the Pink Ranger and Anne Hathaway as Selina “Catwoman” Kyle are essentially the same archetype. One’s in high school, one’s in college. So, who can explain why one franchise makes a kazillion dollars while the other fades into obscurity? Think. It’s staring right at you in all it’s tightness.

For those who watched “The Dark Knight Rises”, did you like Marion Cottilard’s death scene as Talia al Ghul? I thought she phoned it in. She’s like, “eh”, and dies. But she could have made a scene like The Wicked Witch.
Jul 19, 2012 12:25AM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talia_al_Ghul
Talia al Ghul
The femme fatale archetype of the Batman myth
Yeah, it’s misogynistic, but this character has been depicted as a woman that truly loves Batman and at the same time wouldn’t hesitate to kill him. She represents the danger of women who lead the adventurous, adolescent male (represented by Batman) into a life of marriage and family reunions and boring stuff. It’s a constant motif whenever Ras al Ghul is around in the comics. He wants Batman to take over his League of Shadows and wed his daughter Talia. But Batman always refuses, which usually ends with Ras getting insulted and the two fight to the death with swords… er, shirtless and sweaty (that’s some Freudian stuff right there).
What does this dynamic really represent? Well, seeing as how Ras al Ghul was a metaphor for some real figure in politics at the time, maybe some Middle Eastern dignitary, it’s American comic book writers’ way of fueling the xenophobia. Batman has evolved to symbolize the CIA and the USA, so Batman’s reluctance to take on a foreign wife and abide by their customs reflects American attitudes. But that’s not to say he won’t take some tang to go, or leave a little deposit. Wayne irresponsibly knocks Talia al Ghul up in some storylines.
Talia al Ghul represents the average white male’s lust for exotic women, who bed them because of their “irresistible white male presence” but also want to kill them, therefore making it impossible to commit to a foreign she-devil.
Is this good, or bad?
Some actresses in Hollywood that might fit the typecast would usually be like Rachel Weisz, Eva Green, Eva Mendes, Leonor Varella, Vivian Wu, Marion Cottilard. Ultimately, Cottilard was chosen to depict her in the latest Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
Again, Cottilard has an exotic but ambiguous ethnic look, which is exploited to bring across a sense of sensuality but caution. A literary character known as a black widow spider, seductress, dragon lady, siren, medusa, etc.

I wonder if I should start listing models on here manually (the ones I think are particularly profitable or are currently hip). At the least, it’ll get some hits in search traffic.
Jul 7, 2012 3:05AM
While teaching myself the Nikon D3200, I realized that my cheapo $200 camera actually takes better pictures faster. With a DSLR, you need to make all the calculations yourself (if using manual) and it’s still not enough light. I’m using a two point basic lighting setup, and once the sun started setting outside, I lost a lot of fill light.
When you light a woman, you want that fill light to bounce all over the room, off the white walls. You want the woman to have a soft, delicate look, even if she is kinda masculine physically.
For men, you can use very harsh, dramatic lighting. Maybe even one light source. This usually creates a dominating presence. Of course, if you’re not trying to make the male subject look like a macho man, they you’ll have to use some fill light and other techniques.

The heavenly Marion Cottilard as Miranda Tate in the upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises.
